How the LoL Skin Sale Schedule Works
Riot Games runs a weekly LoL store sale every Monday at 1 PM PT. Each rotation features around 15 skins with RP discounts between 27% and 60% off. Lower-tier skins tend to get bigger cuts, while Epic and Legendary cosmetics receive smaller ones. The sale lasts exactly 7 days. To buy a discounted skin, open the League of Legends store and check the Sale tab. We update this page every Monday so you can see what is on sale today without launching the client.
Which Skins Go on Sale?
Not every champion skin in the League store is eligible for weekly discounts. Here is what you can and cannot expect to find when you want to save RP.

When do LoL skin sales happen?
The weekly skin sale rotation refreshes every Monday at 1 PM PT (9 PM UTC). Each sale runs for exactly 7 days and features around 15 champion skins at discounted prices.
How much discount can you get on skin sales?
Discounts range from 27% to 60% off the original RP price. Standard skins tend to get bigger cuts (up to 60%), while Epic and Legendary skins usually cap at 50%.
How often does a specific skin go on sale?
Most skins cycle through the sale rotation roughly once every 4 to 6 months. Riot does not publish a schedule, so any skin sale prediction is just an estimate based on past patterns.
Can I refund a skin if it goes on sale after I buy it?
Riot does not offer price adjustments. However, you can use one of your three refund tokens to return the skin and rebuy it at the sale price, as long as the token is still available.
Do all League of Legends skins go on sale?
No. Mythic, Ultimate, Prestige, and Exalted skins are never included. Skins released within the last 3 months and exclusive cosmetics like PAX or Victorious skins are also excluded.
Are Legendary skins included in the weekly sale?
Yes, Legendary skins (1820 RP) can appear in the weekly rotation. They typically receive smaller discounts of 27-46% compared to lower-tier skins.
Is the Mythic Shop part of the weekly skin sale?
No. The Mythic Shop rotation is a separate system that uses Mythic Essence instead of RP. It resets on Thursdays and follows its own schedule independent of the weekly skin sale.
