How the Free Champion Rotation Works
Every Tuesday Riot Games refreshes the free champion rotation with 20 new picks. Any player at summoner level 11 or above can try these champions for free in normal and ARAM queues without spending Blue Essence or RP. The rotation is the same across all servers and lasts exactly one week. We update this list every rotation reset so you can always check which champions are free today.

What is the free champion rotation in League of Legends?
Every week Riot Games makes 20 champions free to play for all players at summoner level 11 and above. You can use them in normal and ARAM games without purchasing them.
When do the free champions change?

Can I play free champions in ranked?

Yes. The weekly free champions are identical across all League of Legends servers worldwide.
Can I keep a free champion after the week ends?
No. Once the week resets the champion is locked again. To keep playing them you need to buy them with Blue Essence or RP.
What is the new player champion pool?
Players below level 11 get a fixed set of beginner-friendly champions instead of the weekly list. This pool is designed to help new players learn the game before they unlock the full free selection.
